1. Histology:
- a vein with an obstructing thrombus, which is attached by the head to its intima; the right part of the thrombus consists of fibrin and red blood cells (a fresh thrombus), the left is represented by coarse fibrous connective tissue (an old thrombus);
- in the center and bottom of the thrombus, in the area of its head, in the connective tissue, there are a large number of cracks, channels and vessels (sewerage and vascularization of the thrombus).
2. Anatomy: lymph node is of a dense consistency, enlarged in size, and on the incision it is represented by crumbling masses of yellow-gray color, with a cheesy appearance.
